Fulton Trims Owensboro in Double-header

Effective pitching by Schultz and Holder and a steady hitting attach enabled Fulton to beat Owensboro in a double-header Sunday and move into a tie for second place in the Kitty League.

Thirdbaseman Seawright’s homer with two on was the big blow for Fulton in the first game and more than offset the homer by Reardon of the Oilers.

Holder hurled good ball for Fulton in the second game, as Owensboro’s attack was held in restraint except for homers by Fletcher and Berger.
